Alfa Trans Raya is a fully integrated ship-owner and operator of modern vessels in regional Mining & Energy Industry. The company was formed in 2006 to fill market demand by providing reliable tonnage solution and deliver high and predictable quality services in accordance with customer inquiries.

Our head office is based in Jakarta and there are also several representative offices in some location in Indonesia such as Surabaya, Bunati, Batam, and Meulaboh.

With over seven years experience building and delivering business, organisations and service provider throughout Indonesia and Asia Pacific, Alfa Trans Raya is strongly committed to safety, reliability and quality service through the employment, training and development of qualified and experienced ship officers and crew.

Chartering

For chartering services, Alfa Trans Raya involved in comprehensive range of activities like owning its own fleet besides operating ships on Time Charter or Voyage Charter basis and providing customized logistic solutions. The shipments originate from various ports in Indonesia to Asian region.

 

TIME CHARTER
For many ship owners, a time charter is a prudent way to maximize asset utilization and to realize investment returns. It could be a common type of vessel or custom built to meet the specific requirements from our Customers.

 

Our aim is to ensure that our Customers use the most suitable vessel for their needs. We also can provide pro-active assistance and give advice including operational and technical issues.

 

VOYAGE CHARTER
Our fleet size range from 1,000 - 4,500 DWT and we specialize in carriage of general cargoes, project cargoes, heavy equipment, etc for domestic shipment.

Ship Management

Our ship management is backed up with SAP, Enterprise Resource Planning System which is single system to manage all activity from Crewing, Stores and Supplies and up to Preventive Maintenance of the Vessel. By systematic development of the company services, we expect our company to be the preferred provider within our market segments.

CREW MANAGEMENT

We understand that the quality of officers and crew are the most important factor in the management of a vessel.

 

Our crewing services include:

  • Crew management, including: crew planning, crew processing, database management, follow-up cases, crew accounting, payroll and  allotments and crew travel
  • Crew recruitment and rotation
  • Screening and processing of crew, based on each client’s needs and goals.
  • Crew training to ensure that our crew develop in our organization and generate steadily more value for clients

 

SAFETY MANAGEMENT

We actively encourage feedback and input from both our customers and employees in a constant effort to improve our services. We operate to the following reference standards in all our daily operations: ISM Code, ISPS Code, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, MARPOL, SOLAS, OHSAS 18001

Agency

Beside the vessel based solution, we also provide shipping agency and project agency services with the flexibility to meet our valuable Costumers.

By December 2011, the company has awarded the ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certifications and has thus fulfilled the requirements under Integrated Management System for compliance with the stringent international standards of Quality (ISO 9001:2008), Environment (ISO 14001: 2004), Occupational Health and Safety (OHSAS 18001:2007), and Security (ISM Code).
